Lesson Overview

5.10 – Using Evidence to Question Negative Beliefs: Negative beliefs often survive because we don’t test them. You can challenge them by asking, “What proof do I have for this thought?” and “What facts go against it?” This turns vague fears into something you can examine clearly. Writing evidence down helps separate emotion from logic. Most of the time, negative beliefs don’t hold up under honest review. You can then create a balanced replacement like, “I sometimes struggle, but I’ve handled hard things before.” Questioning beliefs builds confidence and stability. Each time you test a thought, you strengthen your ability to think clearly under stress. Facts, not fear, become your guide.
