Lesson Overview

29.6 – Fear of Abandonment and Attachment Wounds: The fear of being left or forgotten can shape how we love, trust, and relate to others. Often, it starts from childhood experiences where safety or attention felt uncertain. That fear can follow us into adult relationships, making us cling too tightly or push others away. When we don’t feel secure, our mind imagines loss even when things are stable. This can cause emotional highs and lows that drain both people in a relationship. Learning where this fear began helps us stop repeating old patterns. Building self-trust and emotional independence teaches us we can survive even if someone leaves. The more we heal those old attachment wounds, the less control fear has over us. Over time, we learn to love from a place of confidence instead of anxiety. Real security comes from within.
