10.13 – What to Do When You Feel Like Giving Up: When exhaustion whispers that nothing will change, pause before surrendering. Step back and look at the ground you’ve already covered. Fatigue often distorts perspective, making today’s mountain look endless. Reach for structure—sleep, hydration, connection—before judgment. Ask for support without shame; it’s a strength, not a flaw. Break tasks into smaller pieces until progress feels doable again. Remind yourself that giving up is a decision, not destiny, and decisions can shift with rest and reflection. Persistence isn’t about pushing nonstop; it’s about resuming after every pause. Keep one reason visible, even if it’s tiny—that’s enough to reignite movement.
