Lesson Overview

21.30 – When You Feel Disconnected From Your Body Feeling disconnected often happens after long stress or emotional overload. You might feel distant, like watching life through glass. This detachment is your mind’s way of protecting you from overwhelm. To reconnect, focus gently on sensory awareness—feel your feet on the ground, your breath in your chest, and the temperature of the air. Moving slowly, stretching, or speaking kindly to yourself rebuilds the bridge between thought and sensation. Over time, the fog fades, replaced by warmth and presence. Reconnection isn’t forced—it’s nurtured through patience and self-acceptance. Each small act of noticing is progress. The more you honor your body’s pace, the stronger the link becomes between awareness and calm. You return to yourself, steady, centered, and safe.
