Lesson Overview

21.48 – Reclaiming Autonomy Over Your Physical Space Your environment directly shapes your sense of safety. Reclaiming autonomy means arranging your space to match your emotional needs. Clearing clutter, setting lighting, or controlling noise restores control over your surroundings. Boundaries with others about touch, proximity, or privacy reinforce that control. Over time, customizing your space signals your brain that safety belongs to you. Personal space isn’t selfish—it’s stability. The more intentionally you design your environment, the calmer your body feels within it. Ownership over space translates into ownership over emotion and action.
