Lesson Overview

8.35 – Feeling Angry at the Person You Lost: Anger after loss can feel taboo, but it’s a natural reaction. You might be mad they left, mad at how they died, or mad that life feels unfair. Anger often masks pain and helplessness. It’s okay to admit those emotions without guilt. Write, scream, cry, or talk about it; anger needs movement to release its power. The goal isn’t to eliminate it but to understand it. Once expressed safely, anger transforms into clarity and compassion. Remember, loving someone doesn’t mean never being mad at them—it means you cared deeply. Allowing honest emotion honors both your truth and theirs. Healing starts when you accept that anger and love can coexist within the same heart.
