30.03 – You Are Not Broken Just Because You Feel This Way: Feeling the desire to harm yourself can make you believe you’re damaged beyond repair, but those thoughts are lies built by pain, not truth. Your brain, when under stress, can distort how you see yourself, convincing you that you’re worthless when you’re actually overwhelmed. The truth is, being in pain means you are human — not broken. Emotional exhaustion, trauma, and loneliness can make anyone feel like they’ve lost control. Healing begins when you understand that feeling broken and being broken are two different things. You still have worth, even when you can’t feel it. Every scar, every tear, every moment of doubt carries proof that you’ve already survived so much. Recovery doesn’t erase the past; it transforms how you carry it. You are not defined by what you’ve done to survive — you’re defined by your capacity to heal.
