27.11 – “Why Them?” – Questioning Fairness and Fate: When someone dies, the mind instantly searches for meaning, asking why this person and why now. It feels unfair when good people leave while others stay, as if life handed out tragedy at random. These thoughts aren’t disrespectful—they’re human attempts to organize chaos. You may look for signs, reasons, or divine explanations that never fully satisfy. Sometimes no answer exists, and accepting that uncertainty becomes part of healing. Fairness doesn’t always apply to grief, but compassion does; it softens the sting when logic can’t. Over time, the question “why them” shifts toward “how can I honor them.” That transformation is quiet but powerful. It means your heart is learning that love remains, even when reason cannot explain loss. What once felt like punishment starts to become purpose—the drive to live kinder, fuller, and more aware of life’s fragile balance.
