34.16 – What to Do If You Can’t See a Doctor or Dentist: Not everyone has easy access to healthcare, but there are still steps you can take to protect your body. Community clinics, school nurses, and free dental days can provide affordable or no-cost care. If appointments aren’t possible right now, focus on prevention—wash hands, brush and floss, and rest when you’re sick. Avoiding caffeine and processed foods can help your body recover faster. Keep track of symptoms so you can describe them clearly when help becomes available. Pain or illness should never be ignored, but small habits can keep problems from worsening. Ask trusted adults or local organizations for guidance—they often know hidden resources. Caring for your health isn’t about perfection; it’s about being proactive. When you stay informed and consistent with basic care, you give your body a fighting chance to stay strong and resilient through tough times.
