16.20 – Recognizing Emotions in Your Body: Every emotion has a physical signature—anxiety tightens your chest, sadness drains your energy, joy opens your posture. Learning to read these signals helps you regulate before emotions take over. When you tune into your body, you gain a direct channel to your inner world. Try scanning from head to toe, noticing where tension lives or what feels heavy or light. This body awareness bridges emotional and physical health, helping you identify when something’s off. Instead of labeling yourself as moody, you realize your body is communicating. You can then respond with grounding, hydration, movement, or rest depending on what’s needed. Recognizing emotions physically also reduces confusion—you know whether to talk, move, or pause. This connection deepens your trust in yourself because you no longer feel lost in feelings. Your body becomes your emotional GPS, guiding you toward what needs attention before it turns into an outburst or collapse.
