25.15 – How to Process Anger Without Shame: Anger after abuse is a natural reaction, not a flaw. You were hurt, silenced, and pushed to tolerate what wasn’t fair. Suppressing that emotion only turns it inward as guilt or depression. Processing anger safely means understanding what it’s protecting—your dignity, your boundaries, your sense of justice. Write, move, or speak to release energy without harm. Anger can become fuel for rebuilding confidence when guided with purpose instead of fear. You’re allowed to feel it without apology. Releasing rage doesn’t mean you approve of the past; it means you refuse to carry its poison forward. Healthy anger clears space for calm strength and rightful self-respect.
