Lesson Overview

2.48 – What to Do If You Can’t Talk About It: When words disappear, expression can still happen. Writing, drawing, or typing thoughts can release emotion safely. Music, movement, or silent prayer also communicate pain. You don’t need full sentences—scribbles and symbols count. Use anonymous chats or journals to process feelings without exposure. Pointing to a phrase like “not okay” can alert helpers quickly. Sometimes just showing someone your notes explains more than speech. Silence does not make you unreachable. The goal is to transfer pain outside the body without harm. Find mediums that feel natural to you, even texting emojis that represent emotion. Over time, words may return once pressure lowers. You are allowed to communicate imperfectly until clarity comes. Every attempt to express is a victory over isolation.
