Personalize them to sound comforting to you. Practice when calm so they feel natural in crisis. Breathing between each line deepens effectiveness. Sharing scripts with friends lets them help you if you forget. Over time, your brain learns to calm faster through repetition. Grounding becomes a language your body understands instantly. These simple sentences can pull you back from the edge.
