5.15 – How to Bounce Back From Rejection: Rejection hurts because it touches the part of us that wants to belong. But rejection is also redirection—it guides you toward where you actually fit. Start by allowing the disappointment without self-blame. Separate your worth from someone else’s opinion or opportunity. Reflect on what you can learn, then use it to strengthen your next attempt. Every “no” sharpens focus for your next “yes.” Keep perspective: even successful people hear countless rejections. Don’t internalize it as failure—see it as feedback. Practice self-compassion; growth is uncomfortable but necessary. Stay open to new paths that might appear because one door closed. Write reminders of your strengths when doubt creeps in. Confidence is built by enduring rejection and trying again. Resilience grows when you decide that rejection will shape you, not stop you.
