Lesson Overview

10.21 – Telling Yourself a New Story: The story you repeat about yourself becomes the lens through which you live. If it’s full of blame or defeat, your choices shrink to fit it. Rewriting that story begins with changing language—replace “I’m broken” with “I’m rebuilding.” Every narrative has edits waiting to happen. Reflect on moments of courage you’ve overlooked and weave them back into your identity. Self-compassion turns regret into wisdom. The more you narrate progress, the more your brain believes it. Over time, your story shifts from survival to authorship, proving that you are both the character and the creator.
