Lesson Overview

20.17 – Creating a Support Team You Can Rely On: Creating a support team you can rely on means intentionally surrounding yourself with people who respect your boundaries and encourage your growth. Support doesn’t have to come from many; a few consistent, trustworthy people make the difference. Choose those who listen without judgment and hold you accountable kindly. Tell them what type of help you need during tough times—some people offer advice, others bring presence. Healthy support is mutual; it thrives when you show appreciation and communicate honestly. A reliable team makes recovery sustainable because it replaces isolation with connection. You learn that independence and interdependence can coexist.
