Lesson Overview

1.45 – Coping When You Feel Disconnected: Feeling disconnected is like watching your life from outside a window. You might not feel joy, pain, or belonging even when surrounded by people. This happens when stress or trauma numbs your senses. Start reconnecting through grounding—notice textures, sounds, or smells around you. Reach out to someone safe even if you don’t know what to say. Movement, music, or nature can help reawaken connection. When you start feeling even a flicker of emotion, don’t run from it—welcome it back. Disconnection fades when you feed your senses slowly and safely. You belong in your own body again.
