Lesson Overview

8.01 – When Someone You Love Dies: Losing someone you love can feel like the world has stopped while everyone else keeps moving. The silence they leave behind can be louder than words. You might feel sad, angry, confused, or even numb, and all of that is normal. Grief doesn’t follow a clear path, and emotions can hit in waves that come without warning. Some days you may laugh at old memories, and other days even breathing feels heavy. It’s okay to miss them and still want to move forward. Memories can hurt at first, but over time they can become softer reminders of love. Talking about them, writing to them, or keeping small traditions alive can help you heal. You don’t need to rush or compare your healing to anyone else’s. The love you had for them doesn’t disappear—it changes form and stays with you in the way you live, love, and remember.
