Lesson Overview

13.28 – When You Feel Like You're Always Giving: Constantly being the giver in a relationship can leave you emotionally drained. Love should flow both ways, not as obligation but as choice. When you find yourself always fixing, apologizing, or adjusting, the balance is off. Generosity turns into self-sacrifice when it’s not reciprocated. A relationship thrives when both partners invest effort equally, not when one carries the emotional weight alone. It’s healthy to expect effort back—it doesn’t make you selfish, it makes you human. Reassess whether the relationship feeds you or only takes from you. Emotional burnout is not proof of love; it’s a sign something needs change.
