Lesson Overview

25.31 – You Don’t Have to Forgive to Heal: Forgiveness is often portrayed as the finish line of healing, but it’s a choice, not a requirement. You can recover while still feeling anger or refusing contact. Healing is about releasing the power the harm still holds, not excusing it. Some find peace in forgiveness; others find it in boundaries. What matters is that you reclaim your energy from resentment without betraying your truth. No one else decides what closure looks like for you. Wholeness arrives when you no longer carry their actions inside your identity. Peace can exist alongside unfinished justice. Healing belongs to you, with or without reconciliation.
