Lesson Overview

2.49 – Teaching Others How to Help You in a Crisis: People want to help but often don’t know how. Teaching them ensures support fits your needs. Explain what helps—quiet, space, or physical presence. Share warning signs they should notice. Create a short guide or card describing do’s and don’ts. Practicing conversations about safety reduces panic later. Encourage loved ones to save crisis numbers too. Be specific: “If I start shaking, remind me to breathe.” This builds teamwork during danger. Boundaries make assistance smoother for everyone. Updating your support network keeps communication clear. Training others is leadership born from survival. Empowering those around you strengthens your safety circle. Teaching others also reminds you that your life is worth protecting together.
