Lesson Overview

30.39 – Can You Still Heal If You’ve Hurt Others Too?: It’s possible to feel crushed by guilt for pain you’ve caused others, especially while struggling yourself. But healing and accountability can exist together. You can repair harm while still deserving recovery. Start with ownership: admit what happened without excuses. Apologize where possible and commit to different choices ahead. Then, forgive yourself enough to keep growing; punishment alone doesn’t create change. True healing comes from learning, not endless self-hate. When you extend compassion to yourself, you learn how to extend it to others more sincerely. You are not forever defined by your worst moment — you’re defined by your willingness to do better. Redemption is a journey that begins the moment you decide not to stay broken.
