1.43 – When You Hate How You Feel: Sometimes emotions show up that you wish you could delete—jealousy, shame, rage, fear. You might hate them because they make you feel out of control or “bad.” But hating your feelings doesn’t make them leave; it makes them louder. Instead, try curiosity: ask why they’re there. Maybe jealousy means you value something you’ve ignored. Maybe anger means your boundaries were crossed. Every emotion carries a message, not a verdict. When you stop fighting your feelings, they pass faster. Acceptance is not the same as liking them—it’s allowing them to move through. You can hate how you feel without hating yourself. Understanding always brings peace faster than resistance.
