22.33 – Learning to Say Your Name With Pride: Your name carries generations of love, history, and culture. When others mispronounce or shorten it without trying to learn, it can make you feel erased. But correcting them is not rude—it’s an act of self-respect. Practicing your own name proudly reclaims power from years of dismissal. It tells others, “This is who I am, and it matters.” You can teach gently but firmly, giving people the chance to improve while setting boundaries. Over time, saying your name clearly builds confidence in every part of your identity. Your voice deserves space, and your name is part of that voice. Each correction you make chips away at cultural laziness and builds bridges of understanding. Pride starts small—with a word—and grows into self-acceptance that commands respect without apology.
