6.38 – When You Love Them But Still Feel Hurt: Love doesn’t erase pain—it can exist right beside it. You can care deeply for someone and still recognize that they cause you harm. Accepting both truths keeps you honest and grounded. You don’t have to choose between love and safety; you can love with boundaries. Expressing your hurt calmly can invite real healing conversations. Sometimes love means stepping back to breathe rather than staying to suffer. Don’t let anyone convince you that pain is proof of loyalty. Real love allows growth, not guilt. Forgiving doesn’t mean returning to old harm; it means freeing yourself from bitterness. Choosing peace is not abandonment—it’s honoring your worth. You can still love someone and decide not to be their target.
