35.8 – When a Pet Dies and No One Understands: When a pet dies, the world might treat it like a small thing, but to you, it can feel like losing family. Pets listen without judging, comfort you when no one else can, and love you for who you are. Their silence becomes part of your routine, and when it’s gone, everything feels too quiet. People might tell you to “just get another,” but love doesn’t replace—it remembers. Missing them doesn’t make you childish; it makes you compassionate. Grieving a pet is real grief, and your feelings deserve space. You can honor them by remembering what they gave you—loyalty, comfort, and joy. Over time, the sadness turns into warmth when you think of them. Their love doesn’t fade; it becomes a part of how you love everything else that comes after.
