4.02 – Toxic Friendships and How to Let Go: Not all friendships are meant to last, especially when one person constantly takes more than they give. Toxic friendships often drain your energy and make you question yourself. They may involve manipulation, guilt-tripping, or control disguised as care. Recognizing those patterns can feel hard when you still care about the person. Letting go does not mean you hate them—it means you choose your own well-being. Healthy distance allows you to heal and grow. Saying goodbye to someone toxic makes space for positive connections. You don’t owe anyone constant forgiveness when they keep crossing boundaries. Prioritizing peace over approval shows strength, not weakness. The best friendships help both people become better versions of themselves.
