1.09 – Understanding Your Emotional Triggers: Everyone has buttons that, when pressed, cause strong emotions to explode fast. Triggers come from past experiences that still live inside you. When someone yells, criticizes, or ignores you, it may remind your body of old pain. Recognizing your triggers gives you power—they no longer surprise you. Write them down, notice patterns, and plan calm responses before they happen. Learning to say, “I need a break” or “That tone hurts” protects your peace. Triggers lose control when you face them with awareness instead of shame. The goal isn’t to avoid all emotion but to understand where it comes from. Mastering your triggers means mastering your energy.
