Lesson Overview

20.47 – Using Anchors: People, Places, or Reminders: Using anchors—whether people, places, or reminders—helps you return to stability when life feels overwhelming. Anchors are anything that reconnects you to calm reality: a trusted friend, a favorite song, a scent, or a meaningful object. They work by reminding your brain of safety when stress tries to convince you otherwise. Create a list of your anchors and keep them nearby for quick access. Over time, these tools become emotional shortcuts back to peace. Anchors don’t erase problems but give you something steady to hold while navigating them. Each time you use one, you reinforce the idea that security can be self-created. The more anchors you build, the less control chaos has over your focus and emotions.
