4.46 – How to Handle a Friend Who Constantly Vents: Friends who vent non-stop can drain your emotional energy. It’s okay to listen, but it’s also okay to set limits. Compassion doesn’t mean being available 24/7. Encourage your friend to find healthy coping outlets beyond you. Offer support without carrying their stress as your own. Say no kindly when you need space. Your mental balance matters too. True friends respect those boundaries without guilt trips. Helping others should not come at the cost of your peace. Self-care keeps compassion sustainable for the long run.
