12.20 – What to Do When You Doubt Yourself: Self-doubt visits everyone, but it doesn’t have to unpack and stay. When your confidence slips, return to evidence—moments where you’ve succeeded before. Doubt grows strongest when you forget your progress. Replace harsh self-talk with realistic self-assessment. Instead of asking “Can I?” ask “How can I improve?” Remember that skill grows from repetition, not luck. Talk to mentors who remind you of your strengths. Writing down achievements retrains your brain to notice capability. Treat doubt as a passing signal, not a permanent identity. Every confident person once felt uncertain but chose action anyway. The antidote to doubt is doing—each small success pushes fear backward. Confidence isn’t the absence of insecurity; it’s movement despite it. When you treat self-doubt as part of growth instead of proof of failure, courage naturally returns stronger each time.
