25.08 – How to Feel Safe Again After Trauma: After trauma, safety doesn’t return all at once—it’s rebuilt through small consistent choices. Your body might stay on alert even when the danger is gone. Start with one safe place, one safe person, or one daily routine that reminds you life isn’t all threat. Healing asks patience, because feeling safe is not just mental; it’s physical. Each breath, stretch, or boundary tells your body the present is different from the past. Slowly, security becomes something you create rather than wait for. You have permission to move at your own pace. Safety rebuilt by you becomes stronger than safety that depended on others.
