Lesson Overview

29.35 – Setting Boundaries Without Yelling: Boundaries protect your peace, but they lose power when shouted. Calm firmness is stronger than raised voices. Saying “That’s not okay with me” clearly communicates respect for yourself without attacking anyone. Boundaries are not about control; they’re about clarity. When you enforce them consistently, people learn how to treat you. Yelling may get attention, but calm repetition earns respect. It’s okay to walk away when others ignore your limits—silence can be louder than shouting. Boundaries work best when spoken with self-respect and calm authority. Each time you set one successfully, your confidence grows, and anger has fewer chances to take over.
