29.05 – “I Just Snapped”—Understanding Sudden Explosions: When people say they “just snapped,” it rarely happens out of nowhere. It’s the result of weeks or months of stress, exhaustion, or bottled-up feelings finally spilling over. The moment feels sudden, but your body and mind have been collecting frustration the whole time. Recognizing the buildup helps you prevent future outbursts by releasing emotion in smaller, safer ways before it overflows. Everyone has a breaking point, but knowing yours early gives you the power to pause and cool down. Snapping often leaves behind guilt or confusion, but those feelings can teach you something vital about your limits. Emotional explosions don’t make you a bad person—they reveal how badly you’ve needed relief. The key is learning that you don’t have to reach that breaking point to be taken seriously. Calm communication can speak just as loudly as shouting ever did.
