22.44 – How to Share Your Story on Your Terms: Sharing your cultural or racial experiences can inspire others, but your story belongs to you—not to anyone’s curiosity. Choose what to share, when, and with whom. Vulnerability is powerful when rooted in consent. Before opening up, ask yourself: Will this heal or drain me? Sharing can educate, but it should also protect your peace. You can use writing, art, or conversation to express safely. The more you share from empowerment rather than pressure, the stronger your voice becomes. Your truth is sacred—it’s not for performance, it’s for purpose. Every time you tell it intentionally, you turn pain into perspective and personal strength into public awareness.
