13.09 – The Difference Between Love and Attachment: Love is freedom, while attachment is fear of losing it. Sometimes what feels like deep love is actually anxiety about being alone. Attachment clings because it confuses comfort with connection. True love gives space and celebrates individuality; it doesn’t suffocate. You can care about someone without needing to control their every move. Emotional balance happens when both people can exist fully apart and still choose to return to each other. Attachment often comes from past wounds, not present affection. Recognizing that difference lets you build relationships that feel calm instead of chaotic. Real love grows from stability, trust, and mutual respect—not dependency disguised as devotion.
