Lesson Overview

17.23 – Choosing a Safe Seat in Class: Where you sit can completely change your comfort level. A safe seat is one where you can focus while still feeling secure. Some prefer the back for visibility, others near exits for calm, or near teachers for support. Visit classrooms early to test what feels best before anxiety sets in. Explain your reasoning respectfully if questioned; teachers often understand when you share that it helps concentration. Once seated, anchor yourself with grounding habits like organizing your desk or stretching your hands. Physical placement often controls emotional space. Choosing intentionally is an act of self-advocacy that reduces stress and builds steady learning habits.
