4.04 – What to Do When You’re Being Cyberbullied: Cyberbullying can make you feel powerless because it happens behind a screen. The first step is not to engage—bullies feed off reaction. Save screenshots of any messages or posts as evidence. Block or mute accounts that spread hate to stop giving them space in your mind. Tell a trusted adult, teacher, or counselor who can help you report it. Remember that you are not the problem; the bully’s behavior is. Taking control of your digital space protects your mental health. Online cruelty fades when it’s not rewarded with attention. Surround yourself with supportive people who lift you up. Healing comes from choosing connection over conflict. You deserve safety—online and offline.
