29.21 – Learning to Express Your Needs Without Exploding: Many explosions happen because people never learned how to ask for what they need early enough. Holding everything in until it bursts only guarantees chaos. Learning to express needs clearly—like saying “I need a break” or “That hurt my feelings”—prevents buildup. Direct communication feels awkward at first, but it protects you from regret. People can’t read your mind; they only see your reaction. Expressing needs calmly turns confusion into cooperation. The goal isn’t to avoid anger but to guide it before it grows wild. When you practice speaking before shouting, you discover that people listen better when they don’t feel attacked. Over time, your relationships become safer places for honesty and growth.
