Lesson Overview

27.31 – Grief Dreams and Waking Up Crying: Dreams about those we’ve lost can feel haunting or comforting, sometimes both. You might see them alive, speaking, or simply present in a vivid moment that fades too fast. Waking up can sting because reality feels colder after such warmth. These dreams are your subconscious continuing unfinished conversations, blending memory with longing. They don’t predict the future; they express emotion your waking mind struggles to release. Writing them down can help you notice patterns or messages that soothe rather than confuse. Whether the dream feels peaceful or painful, it’s proof of deep attachment still processing. Don’t fear them—embrace them as part of healing’s language. Some find meaning in believing the spirit visits; others see it as the brain’s comfort mechanism. Either way, they remind you love leaves imprints that even sleep can’t erase. Crying afterward isn’t weakness—it’s release disguised as remembrance.
