20.19 – How to Recognize Emotional Burnout: Recognizing emotional burnout means catching the signs of exhaustion before your system shuts down. Burnout often masquerades as laziness or apathy, but it’s really your body asking for relief. It shows up through irritability, forgetfulness, and detachment from things you once enjoyed. You may start feeling emotionally flat even after rest. Awareness is the first step to reversing it. When you slow down, hydrate, and step away from over-stimulation, you begin to recover. Burnout happens when output outweighs input for too long. Healing requires gentleness, not guilt. Restoring balance will remind you that productivity is meaningless without peace.
