4.19 – When You’re Afraid to Walk Through the Hallways: School should feel safe, not terrifying. If walking through the halls fills you with dread, something needs to change. Fear often grows when bullying goes unchecked. You have every right to ask for protection and support. Reporting harassment is not weakness—it’s bravery. Talk with trusted staff or counselors who can intervene. Avoid isolation by connecting with peers who make you feel secure. Confidence begins with reclaiming your sense of safety. No one should control your comfort with intimidation. Courage is choosing to show up anyway while seeking the help you deserve.
