Lesson Overview

1.23 – When You’re Numb in Public but Falling Apart Alone: You might look fine at school but crumble when you’re alone. It’s easier to wear a mask than to explain pain you don’t have words for. That split—between the outside world and your inner world—can be exhausting. It’s okay to admit that you’re struggling even if no one sees it. Find a safe person or space to drop the mask. Crying, venting, or writing are ways your emotions can breathe. You don’t have to be strong every second. The version of you that smiles in public and the one that cries in private are both real. Healing begins when they stop being enemies.
