Lesson Overview

20.15 – Budgeting Your Time, Energy, and Emotions: Budgeting your time, energy, and emotions means treating your personal resources like currency. Just as money needs planning, so do your hours and attention. You can’t spend all your energy on work, school, or others without saving any for rest. Learn to identify what truly matters each day and allocate effort accordingly. Overcommitting leads to emotional debt—resentment, fatigue, and irritability. By tracking where your energy goes, you regain control of your emotional balance. Rest, play, and reflection must be part of your “budget” too. Managing your resources wisely makes you more effective, not selfish. The better you balance input and output, the longer your resilience lasts.
