Lesson Overview

29.45 – Relearning How to Speak Without Exploding: Speaking calmly when you’re angry takes practice and patience. Your voice might shake at first, but each time you try, control grows stronger. Using “I” statements like “I feel frustrated” keeps communication safe and honest. The more clearly you express emotion, the less likely it will erupt. You can be passionate without being harsh. Relearning how to talk during anger transforms relationships because it replaces fear with understanding. It’s okay to pause mid-conversation to breathe before finishing. Respectful speech during high emotion is emotional intelligence in action. You don’t lose strength by staying calm—you prove it.
