Lesson Overview

8.07 – Graduation Anxiety and Leaving the Past Behind: Graduating should feel exciting, but it can also trigger hidden grief. You’re closing a chapter filled with people, places, and daily rhythms that shaped who you are. The countdown to graduation can bring both pride and panic because moving forward means letting go. You might fear losing connections or not knowing who you’ll be next. It’s okay to cry while celebrating your achievements. Growth always asks for something in return—usually comfort and familiarity. Remember that the memories and friendships you built aren’t erased by time; they evolve with you. Create a ritual to honor your journey—write a letter to your past self or collect photos that remind you how far you’ve come. Change is bittersweet, but every ending makes space for new opportunities that will one day feel just as meaningful.
